Afternoon in Aruba

Spoiled Rotten by Grandpa

Teryn was absolutely spoiled. She was rocked to sleep during the day by her Grandap Nolan. He was more than happy to babysit while Marty and I headed to the beach. Yes, we were the family with a baby monitor under the cabana on the beach. Teryn slept almost all day in Nolan's arms while he sang her songs such as: I've got a home in glory land, This land is your land, Church in the Valley by the Wildwood, Red River Valley, The Streets of Laredo, Billy Boy, A Bicycle Built for Two, Yankee Doodle, plus lots of Christmas Carols.

A day of relaxing

Sunday was spent relaxing. We didn't really do a whole lot of anything. Not even a trip to the beach.

First Plane Ride

Our family took off on our annual trip to Aruba. Teryn slept through most of the trip (so did Grampa Nolan). She was an excellant traveler.

YMCA Elf

Teryn was answering the phones at the YMCA Monday morning. She was a great Christmas Elf.

Girls on the Run

Every Spring and Fall I coach a Girls on the Run Team for the YMCA. The program started with six girls and one site. It has grown to over 40 girls with five different sights. The girls in the picture (Micaela, Aubrey, Sarah, and Rachel, Brennen even though he is a boy, we'll claim him) have been in my running group for 2 years). I actually ran a 5K with them in the spring when I was 22 weeks pregnant. The girls will be joining me again in the spring for another 5K training. Its a good thing I have a jogging stroller.

Tummy Time

Its tummy time for Teryn. It takes about 5 minutes of kicking and then she is asleep.

Meeting Sophia

On the way home from Chicago, our family stopped by to see the Russells. Sophia was so excited about Teryn. Sophia would jump up and down and say "Come see the baby, Come see the baby!"

First Trip to Chicago

Teryn and I took the train to Chicago on Friday morning. She slept the whole way there. Later that evening we headed to Marty's Christmas party. Teryn was held by several of his managers.
